Kante Pulisic, Giroud To Start For Chelsea Against Tottenham, Kick-Off Time Plus Tuchel’s Formation

Chelsea FC will be looking for a second win with Thomas Tuchel in-charge after winning one match against Burnley and had a goalless draw with Wolves FC.

Coach Thomas Tuchel’s men at the weekend defeated Burnley 2-0 at the Stamford Bridge and will face his major test in English premier league as the blues face Tottenham away from home on Thursday night.

The match between Tottenham and Chelsea will kick-off at 21:00 on Thursday.

Chelsea team has performed poorly in recent time away from home by losing four of their five away matches in the league, but there might be hope right now because Spurs is down after a shocking 1-0 loss to Brighton at the AMEX stadium on last Sunday.

The blues are undefeated against Tottenham in their last seven matches in all competitions, and the manager will be excited because he has a fully fit squad to name his starting eleven from. This can be a very good thing for the manager because he can name his strongest lineup on Thursday, but at the same time he will have no excuses if his side should lose the game.
Let’s look at the possible Chelsea lineup (3-4-2-1) against Tottenham tomorrow.
Mendy will retain his position in the goal post after keeping two consecutive clean sheets against Wolves and Burnley.
Silva, Azpilicueta and Rudiger will be the defence line, Tuchel Uses three-man defence in his formation so they will start. Azpilicueta scored what was the first goal in Tuchel tenure at the club, so he will retain his place ahead of James.
The midfielders will be, Kante And Kovacic will start, the later has been injured for the past week which caused him to missed some of their matches, but he is back and was a sub against Burnley. While Hudson-Odoi and Alonso will be at the right and left side of the midfield, in this pattern of formation the right midfielder will be playing as the right wing-back and the left midfielder will be playing as the left-back as well. Alonso scored in his first match since September and also his first goal under the new manager.
Pulisic and Mount will start as the attacking midfielders and they will be operating from the wings, while Werna will complete the attack as the striker.
