The Tottenham Hotspur striker is yet to return to the training complex following his post-Euros holiday despite the club expecting him back this week.
Harry Kane remains absent from the training ground amid his transfer stand-off with Tottenham Hotspur.
The 28-year-old England captain was expected to return to the club’s Hotspur Way training complex on Monday for a Covid test and the usual bloodwork tests that players undergo ahead of their first week of pre-season training.
Spurs have not been informed that yet by the player and at this point no transfer request has been received, but equally, they have not been told when he is set to return to Hotspur Way to join up with new boss Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad.
Last summer, Kane irked some within the club after he travelled to the Bahamas and the rules unfortunately changed while he was out there, forcing him to isolate on his return which interrupted his return to pre-season training.
